Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and no Sundays or holidays.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomographic (CT) imaging procedures. This role includes starting IVs, running I-stat for labs, injecting contrast, and post-processing images. Most patients are mobile, with a focus on follow-up cancer diagnoses. The clinician will have opportunities to float within the imaging department to provide x-ray coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography scans and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Start IVs and administer contrast agents.
• Post-process images and work with the electronic medical record system (Epic).
• Provide x-ray coverage within the department as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Experience in performing a variety of imaging procedures, including extremities, abdomen, spine, pelvis, head, chest, and thorax.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography.
• ARRT (CT) certification in Computed Tomography.
