ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in New Braunfels, Texas.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this position will provide care for adult patients with medical and surgical needs, including joint replacements, general abdominal surgeries, and spinal surgery. The RN will be responsible for delivering routine and complex care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for any side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, care given, and patient progress accurately.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers as necessary.

Required Experience

One year of experience in the related nursing specialty is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification (AHA only) is required.
• Must hold a valid RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state.
