Job Description
Join HSHS Rehabilitation Hospital, a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping individuals regain independence after injuries or illnesses. The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) in the rehab setting involves providing specialized care tailored to patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, and orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to provide quality rehabilitation care.
- Administer medication and perform medical procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and recovery progress.
Required Experience
1+ year experience in rehabilitation nursing is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
