Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Rehabilitation will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation treatment. This includes assessing patient needs, creating care plans, and implementing therapeutic activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient recovery.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation protocols and home care needs.
Required Experience
Qualified candidates must have prior experience in a rehabilitation setting and a current Registered Nurse license.
Certifications/Licensure
Current Texas RN license is required.
