Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehabilitation will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from various physical and possibly psychological issues. The focus will be on promoting patient independence while ensuring safety and comfort during the rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and self-care strategies.
- Provide support and advocacy for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Required Experience
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
