Job Description

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work alongside occupational therapists to support patients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct patient assessments under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient progress and report regularly to the occupational therapist.
• Support patients in daily activities and therapeutic exercises.

Required Experience

Applicants must have a valid COTA certification and relevant clinical experience in occupational therapy settings.

Certifications/Licensure

Must hold a valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
