Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at helping patients return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focusing on patient progress toward discharge.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, adhering to all applicable guidelines.
• Ensure care is delivered under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as necessary.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and facilitating a positive learning environment.
• Create a personalized professional development plan with clinical management, identifying growth opportunities.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards as set by discipline-specific codes of conduct.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida.
