Job Description
The Emergency Department at Canyon Vista Medical Center offers a dynamic environment where you will provide care to a diverse patient population including trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke cases. Our facility is equipped with 22 beds, and we maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track. Document your care using our EHR system, Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and document changes.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
