ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics (Night Shift) in Marquette, Michigan.

Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, 36 hours per week with 3 weekends every 6 weeks.

Job Description

Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital with a robust Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine services, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula, Marquette is the largest community in the peninsula and home to Northern Michigan University.

You will be part of a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit providing care for patients of all ages. The facility employs an electronic health record (EHR) system with a transition from Paragon to Cerner scheduled for March 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit.
• Handle trauma and postoperative care for orthopedic and neurological patients.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EHR for patient documentation and care planning.
• Float to inpatient units as required.

Required Experience

2+ years of experience in adult nursing is required, with pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have an active Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is preferred.
