Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The role includes triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a healthcare team.
• Triage incoming patients based on urgency and care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform critical nursing procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Document all patient care and relevant information accurately in the medical record.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
