Schedule/Shift

This role offers day shifts, working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Travelers are required to work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Job Description

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer will perform high-risk scans at a large trauma 1 facility with 579 beds. The traveler will see up to 8 patients a day, including detailed scans for fetal anatomy, follow-up OB, BPP, UMB, and MCA dopplers.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk ultrasound scans, including routine and detailed fetal anatomy, first trimester, pelvic sonohystograms, and HyCoSy.
• Manage a patient load of up to 8 patients daily, accounting for scans related to multiple gestations appropriately.
• Provide thorough documentation within the EPIC system.

Required Experience

• ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Experience in a large teaching hospital setting is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Ultrasound Tech Certification (or equivalency) required.
