ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, CVICU (Day Shift) in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule includes 2 weekends per month and 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), as well as 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

The CVICU at Centennial Medical Center is a 16-bed unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery care, devices, and advanced cardiac procedures. The unit is equipped with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps, and utilizes the Meditech documentation system. The team is supported by an intensivist who is assigned to the unit 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Perform central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, intubations, and other critical procedures as needed.

Required Experience

• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
• Advanced skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
