Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include triaging, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and triage patients based on urgency and severity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient information in the Meditech EHR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Arkansas.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred.
