ARMStaffing is looking for an Ultrasound Tech, Ultrasound (Variable Shift) in Biddeford, Maine.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position is Friday to Sunday, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with variable weekend hours as needed and guaranteed weekly hours of 36-40. There may be backup call requirements.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and procedures on patients. You will be working with advanced equipment including Philips Epiq and GE E10 systems, and utilizing the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system. The expected patient population is diverse, given the facility's wide-ranging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies with attention to detail and patient comfort.
• Ensure quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience

Three years of experience is preferred, with five years being ideal for this position.

Certifications/Licensure

ARDMS certification is required for this role.
