Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12 Hour Night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working weekdays and every third weekend. Shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide basic respiratory care, including mechanical ventilator management, in a large facility and trauma setting. Candidates should have a proven background in intensive care and trauma experiences, ensuring high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilators.
• Provide respiratory assessments and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately and timely.

Required Experience

Candidates must have over 1 year of experience in respiratory care, specifically in large facilities and trauma settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist License
