Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 12 hours (7p-7a), 7 on/7 off or 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit will provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring comfort and safety while monitoring vital signs and medication administration. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a 49-bed facility setting and be adept at using Epic EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure a safe environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
• Participate in the development of comprehensive care plans.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Alabama RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
