ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Winfield, Alabama.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements. OT applies after 80.5 hours biweekly.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a 49-bed Medical-Surgical unit, providing care to adult patients. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Familiarity with Epic EMR is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience.
• AL RN license on file at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
