Day Shift (0630-1900), three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), with no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management and ventilator support to patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Responsibilities include physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care utilizing equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 Ventilators, and V60 Para Pac Transport Vent.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management for various patient populations.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilator support.
• Conduct physician consultations as necessary.
• Perform CPR and other critical interventions.
• Utilize computerized charting and medication management systems.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care, with ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. No first assignments accepted.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP is preferred.
• State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license required by start of assignment.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for medical or religious exception required prior to contract start date.
