Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM with on-call duties every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight.

Job Description

This position is for a Radiologic Technologist in the Interventional Radiology department at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The unit has 2 IR suites with an average patient ratio of 10 patients per room. The staff includes 4 IR nurses and 4 IR techs, making for a collaborative work environment. Typical procedures performed include PICC line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placements, ablations, ESI, and EKOS for PE, as well as Trevo for strokes.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Assist in patient care and preparation for various interventional procedures.
• Document patient information and procedure details as required.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile work environment.

Required Experience

• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab is required.
• IR Neuro experience is a plus.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification is required.
• Current New Hampshire state license must be in hand at submission.
