ARMStaffing is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) or Technician (Evening Shift) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of 4-10's on weekdays, with no weekends and no call. The shift hours are from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Job Description

As a traveling Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) or Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and receiving specimens for testing. You will perform various medical laboratory tests, including chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic analyses, while operating both manual and automated lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive specimens for laboratory testing.
• Conduct chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests.
• Operate manual and automated lab equipment to analyze specimens.
• Perform microbiology plate reading and potential supervisory tasks.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of microbiology plate reading experience or microbiology supervisory experience.
• Two years of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) or Technician is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Medical Technician (ASCP): Associate degree and current Medical Technician Registration by ASCP or AMT.
• Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP): Bachelor’s Degree and current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT.
