Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist provides a variety of technical procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation. This role demands independent judgment and technical skills to produce the highest quality radiographs for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The technologist will perform CT and X-Ray examinations, produce radiographs using proper technical factors, and evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations.
• Produce radiographs using proper technical factors.
• Evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning.
• Schedule exams and instruct patients on preparations for exams.
• Set up and organize rooms for any radiographic procedures.

Required Experience

Successful candidates must hold a degree relevant to Radiologic Technology and have an ARRT registry.

Certifications/Licensure

ARRT certification is required.
