40-hour shift work with call as required. Variable shifts, including nights.

Job Description

The Sonographer will perform ultrasounds and related imaging procedures, focusing on various anatomical areas including the abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, and superficial structures. Proficiency in both normal and pathological evaluations is required. Familiarity with procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative support will be essential. The ideal candidate will utilize Canon i700 equipment and be knowledgeable in Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal ultrasounds (Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, Renal).
• Conduct GYN ultrasounds (breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis).
• Execute OB ultrasounds (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, amniocentesis, biophysical profiles, abnormalities).
• Perform neonatal imaging (congenital anomalies, neonatal head).
• Conduct vascular ultrasounds (carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience as a sonographer in an acute hospital setting. One or more contracts previously held.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARDMS (AB) (OB) (RVT) certified.
• Active BLS certification (AHA certified).
