ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapy (Night Shift) in Round Rock, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The shift for this position is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend work required every other week.

Job Description

The selected Respiratory Therapist will provide care within a unit that features 205 beds and comprises 35 staff members. The position entails managing ventilators and Bipap therapy, administering aerosol therapies, conducting chest physiotherapy (CPT), and ensuring effective oxygen delivery. Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records is essential. Strong teamwork and collaboration are key characteristics that fit well with the unit's environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients requiring ventilator support and Bipap therapy.
• Administer aerosol therapies and oxygen as needed.
• Perform chest physiotherapy (CPT) as part of patient management.
• Document all care activities in the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience

• Experience in ICU and ER settings.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NRP certification preferred.
