Day shift with call requirements. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Echo Sonographer will be responsible for independently performing complete echocardiograms, utilizing equipment such as Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX. The role requires a solid understanding of anatomy and disease processes, primarily within a non-invasive cardiology unit. Documentation will be handled through the Meditech system.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures.
• Document findings accurately in Meditech.
• Float to other units as needed according to Methodist Floating Policy.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of hospital experience as an Echo Sonographer.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and disease processes.
• BLS certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RCS or RDCS certification required.
• ARDMS certification preferred.
