Shifts available: 12-hour Day Shift from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36. Weekend hours required: Every other weekend.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide comprehensive care to patients across a diverse population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. The unit consists of 26 beds with flexible patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on patient acuity. Experience with Meditech is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Utilize standardized equipment, such as GE Monitors and standard ED equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
