This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 12 hours per shift.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Rapid Response will be responsible for providing immediate nursing care to patients in critical situations. This role requires a strong ability to think quickly and act decisively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to rapid response team calls and provide immediate care to patients in crisis.
• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with medical and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document all care provided accurately in the electronic health record.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding critical care issues.

Required Experience

Candidates must have previous experience in a rapid response, critical care, or emergency department setting. Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is also required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN licensure in Tennessee is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also preferred.
