ARMStaffing is looking for a CVOR Tech, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Largo, Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: 5:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will work in the Operating Room, performing duties associated with cardiovascular surgery procedures. The position involves collaboration with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and effective room turnover.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency in cardiovascular techniques.
• Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are ready.
• Maintaining sterile conditions and operating room protocols.
• Collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Previous experience as a CVOR Tech in an operating room setting is required. Strong technical skills in cardiovascular procedures are essential.

Certifications/Licensure

Certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent is required. Current BLS certification is also necessary.
