Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Department, focusing on trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases. The facility has 10 rooms and a 19 bed/chair capacity, with a patient ratio of 3 to 4:1. The EMR system in use is MEDHOST.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and triage patients with various emergency conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize MEDHOST for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Maintain a safe and effective environment for patient care.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency setting.
- Travel experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification (AHA or ARC).
- All titers must be in hand at the time of submission.
