Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a busy Emergency Department, focusing on trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases. The unit features a 10-room layout with a 19-bed/chair capacity and a patient ratio of 4:1. The position requires familiarity with the MedHost EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Perform assessments and triage patients as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking to manage trauma and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or similar setting.
- Travel experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC accepted).
