ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Night Shift) in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule is for Night Shift, specifically from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. Call is required for 4 days per month.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will provide professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations as prescribed by referring physicians, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by radiologists, performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The technologist will be proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT care to patients for diagnostic imaging.
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Participate in surgical and sterile procedures as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT is required.
• Valid New Mexico license as a general radiographer is required.
• Experience in both CT and X-ray is required.
