Night Shift, 19:00 - 07:30, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be primarily assigned to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and must float to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as needed. The position involves caring for pediatric patients and requires expertise in the intensive care setting. Candidates will utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Nihon Koden and Drager ventilators, and will work with an electronic health record system, Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to the NICU as needed based on patient care demands.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation per facility protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

Required Experience

2+ years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is required. NICU experience is necessary.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Montana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
