ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic (Night Shift) in Burlington, North Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour Night Shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working every other weekend.

Job Description

This position is for a 29-bed unit providing care to adult and geriatric orthopedic patients, as well as medical-surgical patients. The unit offers telemetry monitoring and features a physical therapy gym to facilitate patient rehabilitation on-site. A key responsibility of this role includes overseeing high-volume patient populations involving total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties, along with moderate populations undergoing various other surgical procedures and medical observations. Charge RN shifts will be required as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications as prescribed.
• Oversee patient care activities and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform charge nurse duties as required, including supervising nursing staff.
• Manage telemetry monitoring for patients as needed.
• Facilitate physical therapy sessions within the unit.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Charge RN experience is mandatory.
• Previous travel experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
