Schedule/Shift

Day/Shift hours can vary to the needs of the HomeCare office, with options such as Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, or 9 AM to 6 PM, as well as alternating weekend shifts.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide skilled home health care to patients with various diagnoses, including cardiopulmonary assessments and post-operative care. Responsibilities include basic wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, and Foley catheter changes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Administer basic wound care and manage advanced dressings (e.g., wound vac, Pleurx drain care).
• Perform Foley catheter insertion and care, staple/suture removal, and IV management, including PICC line care.
• Utilize lab draw, glucometer, and pro-time machine as required.
• Monitor high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of skilled home care experience required.
• Experience with OASIS documentation is essential.
• Recent patient care experience within the last 3 months is necessary.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required, or an exemption form must be on file. Flu vaccination is also required or a declination must be on file.
