Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

5x8 hour night shifts with on-call requirements and a 30-minute response time. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room and may care for COVID patients. This position includes working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in the Operating Room.
• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide timely interventions.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with facility standards.
• Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an Operating Room.
• Prior experience with Epic charting system required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLSE certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only.
