Schedule/Shift

Variable start times with 12-hour shifts, either from 1500 to 0300 or 1900 to 0700. Weekend shifts are required every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in an Acute Care setting, specifically in the Emergency Department. The nurse will manage and deliver care to patients across diverse age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nurse will use the Epic charting system for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure quality and safety standards in the delivery of care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in emergency services preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California or Compact License.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
