Schedule/Shift

Shifts are 3x12 hours, with every other weekend required or less depending on unit needs.

Job Description

The Hematology/Oncology RN provides compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients, including completing assessments, developing care plans, administering chemotherapy and medications, monitoring laboratory results, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to pediatric Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other oncology treatments.
• Monitor central lines, lab draws, and patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives and infection prevention protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Experience caring for immunocompromised pediatric patients.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Florida RN license or valid multistate eNLC license.
• BLS and PALS certifications required within one year.
