Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and processing, operating the GE Ventri machine to produce diagnostic results, and monitoring and recording all radioactive materials. The role includes maintaining quality control on all equipment and assisting physicians in performing procedures, including IV insertion. Charting will be performed using the PACS system (image storage), Xceleris (image processing), and Webhis (final notes and imaging).

Responsibilities

• Conduct NM procedures and ensure accurate processing of results.
• Operation of the GE Ventri machine.
• Monitor and record radioactive materials.
• Maintain quality control on equipment.
• Assist physicians with procedures, including IV insertion.
• Utilize various charting systems for documentation.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification is required.
• Valid state license appropriate for the position is required at the time of submission.
