Job Description

Join our dedicated team at a 167-bed healthcare facility providing exceptional care in Gallatin, Tennessee. As a Registered Nurse in our Medical-Surgical unit, you will care for a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatrics, with a patient ratio of 6:1. Our unit utilizes Meditech for documentation and is committed to upholding high standards of care. You will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge needs.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical. Preferred: 2+ years of experience in the specialty.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIH certification.
