12-hour night shifts from 1900 to 0730, with weekends scheduled every other week.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical and Infectious Disease unit, providing care for patients with various infectious diseases, including COVID-19, MRSA, and C-Diff. The unit has 18 private rooms, and nurses will work in a team typically consisting of 3-4 RNs per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with infectious diseases in a MedSurg setting.
• Handle isolation precautions effectively.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips as required.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including a Charge Nurse and nursing assistants.
• Participate in patient care planning and assessments.

Required Experience

• Strong knowledge in Medical-Surgical and Infectious Disease nursing.
• Experience with isolation precautions.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
