Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at a 240-bed facility. As a critical member of our Respiratory Therapy unit, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality patient care and therapy, particularly in the NICU and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and therapies as per established protocols.
• Set up and manage ventilators for patients.
• Assist in intubations and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
• Provide patient and staff education regarding respiratory care.
• Facilitate all RT therapies across various departments including ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med-Surg.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certified.
• CRT or NBRC certification preferred.
