This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

3 x 12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Every other weekend required and 3 out of 6 holidays required. No on-call or float requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery and Antepartum. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in patient care. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care in alignment with standards of care and practice.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support implementation of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in accordance with the professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Preferred years of experience: 3 years in Labor and Delivery and Antepartum.

Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Scrubs provided - Navy Blue.
