Schedule / Shift

This position offers a 4-day work week with 9.5-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM. There may be 1-2 weekend STEMI on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will prepare and assist in various cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral vascular procedures. The role includes monitoring and documenting hemodynamic data and providing procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures. Ensuring patient preparation and managing access sites will also be critical components of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to the physician in pre, intra, and post-procedure settings.
• Assess and manage access sites, informing the physician as needed.
• Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures adequately.

Required Experience

Candidates must have relevant experience in the Cath Lab, particularly in performing the outlined duties.

Certifications / Licensure

Current certification as a Cath Lab Technician or relevant licensure is required.
