Schedule / Shift

3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts with on-call every 4th weekend and 1 day per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines and the ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedure cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists in complex diagnostic and interventional cases while maintaining sterile technique.
• Critically think during neuro-interventional procedures to provide necessary support.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
• Maintain infection prevention measures and set up procedural trays for workload.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Manage groin care post-intervention.

Required Experience

3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification and NJ state licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent with skill demonstration.
