Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill medical and surgical patients undergoing invasive procedures, including those using fluoroscopy and general X-ray modalities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive procedures in Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Neurosurgical intervention while adhering to aseptic techniques as per AORN guidelines.
• Collaborate with health care team members through Shared Governance to promote evidence-based care.
• Develop and maintain required competencies for managing the Interventional Radiology patient population.
• Provide responsible, professional critical care nursing care within an integrated healthcare system.
• Demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values: Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence.

Required Experience

Experience in critical care nursing, specifically related to interventional procedures, is required.

Certifications / Licensure

Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
