Assignment Duration

This is a 36-hour per week contract position for 182 weeks.

Schedule / Shift

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements of staying late 1-2 times per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a CVOR Tech to join our dedicated team. You will be primarily responsible for providing support in the cardiovascular preoperative unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts and chin-to-toe hair removal.
• Administer medications and conduct skin assessments.
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep.

Required Experience

Critical care experience is required, with pre-operative experience preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
