Schedule / Shift

Day shift, 5 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend shifts may be required, approximately 1-2 per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Acute Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting, assisting patients in their rehabilitation process following injury or surgery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina Occupational Therapist License or Multistate Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
