Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse in the Operating Room with a minimum of 3 years of experience, particularly in Level I Trauma settings. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using the Davinci xi robot and have experience with general, gynecological, thoracic, and urology specialties. Candidates will undergo a clinical fit assessment before final interview decision.
Responsibilities
- Function independently in various surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma.
- Participate in 2-3 call rotations within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response time required.
- Maintain compliance with tobacco and fragrance-free policies.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- Previous travel experience.
- Level I Trauma experience preferred; Level II Trauma experience required.
Certifications / Licensure
- AHA or ARC certifications required.
- Current RN license required; no license hits accepted.
- Epic charting system experience preferred.
