Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 7 West unit, specializing in Stepdown and MedSurg nursing. The unit has a total of 32 beds, serving a typical MedSurg population including patients with chest pain, COPD, AMS, pneumonia, UTI, and abdominal pain. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Stepdown and MedSurg environment.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, titrating drips as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care and progress using the EPIC charting system.
Required Experience
Previous experience in a stepdown or medical-surgical setting is preferred but not explicitly required.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current and unexpired RN license.
- BLS Certification required.
