Job Description

This unit offers an excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. You will work with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with conditions like stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and more. As a comprehensive stroke center and a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, we see many acute and complex patients, employing state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients.
• Utilize telemetry and continuous video EEG technology for patient monitoring.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in New York (only).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification required.
