Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and lead exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients. Work in a general Med/Surg unit, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, and observation care. Collaborate with fellow health professionals to address the diverse needs of our patients, utilizing the innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making.

This position requires a commitment to holistic care, addressing the physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care effectively within a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Required Experience

A minimum of 3 years of acute care experience is required, with preference for candidates who have Meditech experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Flu shot is required, with no exceptions.
